CT Trailer: A Prologue to Disaster

Heeeeeeey Peoples!

This r Adam Susskind with this week in Chaos Theory. So you might be noticing the lack of a cover or episode this week. And you would be right! HolyChild and I worked all of Sunday to bring yo the first ever Machinima representation of Chaos Theory in a 3 minute trailer that strikingly resembles the first sequence of the first episode, hence the oddly similar titles.

It’s up on my Youtube channel, but I’m looking for a 2k+ subscriber channel who would be interested in posting it up.

It took us a good long time, but we did it all. I edited while HolyChild (Nick Petromilli) recorded the lines. It was tough, and the sound isn’t perfect, but it was a first attempt. This was edited with Windows Movie Maker and several other programs, including Audacity for sound, but you wouldn’t know by the way it looks.

I think it came out really very well. I want to give HolyChild props for the voice work. It was done extremely well, and his last few lines are just fantastic. I wish we had saved the outtakes, becuase there were some good ones. I hope you enjoy our Chaos Theory Trailer folks, next week is Ep. 18!

Peace,
-Adam Susskind.

Audio from Chaos Theory

Hey folks,

Here’s a bit of dialogue that I recorded for Chaos Theory just for fun. Don’t consider this Horizon’s Official voice, but this is what we came up with (Holychild and I…)

What do you think?

Some New Spotlight Posts

Hey everyone- for those who don’t know, Spotlight is a secret part of the site only accessible by the bar on the top right of the screen. (It says spotlight… On the top right…. Yeah you’re looking at it….) It highlights things that I’ve enjoyed on the internet and if fairly selective. I’m not posting everything I can there. There are two new items in it today, and I suggest scrolling down to the bottom if you are interested. You might have seen one or both of them, but if not you are likely to be in for the RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!!! Maybe not.

Enjoy!

Family Guy: TNG Themed Episode

Ok, ok, I could resist sharing this becuase I’m looking forward to it so much. As a long time fan of both Family Guy and Star Trek, I find it hard not to appreciate an episode where the entire cast of The Next Generation returns together to record an episode of Family  Guy.

You Know You Play Too Much Halo When…

These choice statements and other were found at Hawty McBloggy, my all time favorite blog owned by the enchanting bs Angel in all her counter-subtle glory. These are my favorites, I chose all of the ones that actually applied to me. There are many other funny ones on the site itself. I take no credit for any of the following, applicable to my life as they may be. All of this has happened to me once or twice. Or a lot:

Your friends call you to ask about Halo custom game options and you can recite the menus to them, while you’re driving home from work.

You overhear someone claiming how amazing they are at Halo and you butt-in mid-sentence with “Ohhhhhh REALLY”.

You or one of your friends start humming a Halo song and the rest of you join in.

Someone says they play ‘Gears of War’ or ‘Call of Duty’ and you have to restrain yourself from blurting out laughter/ or rolling your eyes.

You fire up Halo 3 Campaign and an hour or so into gameplay you realize you have your headset plugged in and on your head when you’re playing by yourself.

Someone can say two words to describe a location on a map, and you know EXACTLY where that is.

You know what beats everything.

You don’t think of golf when you hear the word sandtrap.

You brag to your friends you bulltrued with a no scope.

You know what bulltrued with a no scope means.

You try to start vetoing things presented to you in real life that you don’t like: “What’s for dinner tonight? Meatloaf? UGH, vetoooo veto veto.”

Your tag becomes your nickname.

You have ever refered to CoD 4 as “C**k of Doody 4″.

You’ve already had a discussion about how you play too much Halo with your friends.

Your desktop background reflects your favorite Halo 3 screenshots.

You dedicate countless hours to making a comic strip about Halo.

Episode 17: Just Like Poetry

Hey Hey Hey Readers,

chaos-theory-chapter-17-001

Hope you enjoy this one, should be good. (Anyone have any idea why every time I go to post on my site I sound like I’m doing a Rorschach monologue?)

Anyway, this one comes with a few old names returning for a bit of the glory. Thanks to both of the Holy’s for helping me make the map, not an easy task. Holychild spent most of the time forging the worlds biggest middle finger, while, down in the crypt, I realized you could spawn a banshee, and used it to kill HJ, the only one who was actually working on the map.

I like the title on this one, I think it’s halfway decent, although “No Seasons in Space” is by far my favorite thus far.

Note: Remember folks, I love feedback, whether it’s an email or a comment, and to do so, you don’t need an account, just click on comments and type away. I live for this, but don’t be afraid to flame, as long as it’s justified.

I had some fun making this one, but Jim (Stitzel) can vouch for me here:  I pulled it close. I finished it at 10:38 last night. I’m usually done by 4pm on Sunday.  Win.

There should be an email newsletter going up soon, check back for that.

Avast ye hearties, Till next we meet,

-Garrrr
