Video: Canistel’s Swan Song (These Walls)

Our last song, “These Walls” by Dream Theater.

Props to Dan Siew and Nick Petromilli (Guitar and Bass respectively). It’s been real.

@ Dan- You didn’t miss the first verse! :D

@ Nick- The thing at the end is for you. That just happened.

@ Everyone else- Well, it’s been fun. Leave a comment, we like that. :D

Peace out.

Video: Canistel’s Last Jam (An Interlude)

Breakin out our favorite instrumental.

Atreyu’s “An Interlude” as performed by Canistel at our last jam session together as a band.

With Dan Siew on Guitar
Nick Petromilli on Bass
and Adam Susskind on Drums

Bit of a mess up on the last note, Nick’s fifth string was out of tune so it’s a bit lower and probably somewhat sharper than it should be I think, but the rest is decent. You let us know what you think.

This is our second to last song folks. The next one is probably the best.

Video: “The Crowing” Drum Cover

A video of me practicing Coheed & Cambria’s “The Crowing”.

I did this in one take. I think I’ve done better, but it’s fairly decent.

Update: The Two-Week Goodbye

Out for a bit. See you all soon.

Hey folks. I’m headed for England for two weeks to try and stop a cultist uprising in a London slum.

When I get back I’ll have hopefully finished three scripts, one for a filmaker who wants to do “Snow in November”, one for an artist who want’s to draw a comic, and one for Chris Neir who wants to do another machinima.

I’ll be working on the book a bit as well. I have now officially finished the site. I just need to go over it with the client before I can share it with all of youse guys.

When I get back I’ll probably be filming a full band cover of “Limelight” by Rush, taking recordings of all of Canistel’s covers, and filming about thirty segments called “Minute of Metal” where Canistel jams on video for a minute.

See you soon.

Peace.

Video: “Limelight” Drum Cover

Video of myself practicing Rush’s “Limelight”.

This is a pretty challenging song, and keep in mind my interest wasn’t in making it perfect. I was just practicing. Still- I think it’s pretty decent at parts. Enjoy!

As with the last video, the password is “blueshiftcreations“. I only do that so people on the site where the video is hosted don’t get to watch it without coming here first.
