Update: The Two-Week Goodbye

Out for a bit. See you all soon.

Hey folks. I’m headed for England for two weeks to try and stop a cultist uprising in a London slum.

When I get back I’ll have hopefully finished three scripts, one for a filmaker who wants to do “Snow in November”, one for an artist who want’s to draw a comic, and one for Chris Neir who wants to do another machinima.

I’ll be working on the book a bit as well. I have now officially finished the site. I just need to go over it with the client before I can share it with all of youse guys.

When I get back I’ll probably be filming a full band cover of “Limelight” by Rush, taking recordings of all of Canistel’s covers, and filming about thirty segments called “Minute of Metal” where Canistel jams on video for a minute.

See you soon.

Peace.

Project Update July 10, 2010

Update on what I’m working on behind the scenes.

Hey folks,

I hope you enjoyed “Lilac Park“.  As most of you know, a lot of the stuff I’m working on are larger projects, so you won’t be seeing them for some time. As far as the website goes, I had technically finished it, only to find out that there were some very necissary changes to be made. I set my deadline for the fifteenth. Then you will all get to see the fruits of my first paid web-design project eva. :D

I’m still working on a comic script for an artist, although we’ll have to see how our schedules look this upcoming year.

I’m working on a script version of “Snow in November” for a film-maker who’s interested in trying it out.

I’m working on a script version of the first few pages of the book for Chris Neir.

Then of course, there’s the book.

So I’m busy.

Anyway. Hit me up on the contact page if you have questions or requests. I like requests.

Peace.

Update 5-30-10

Just a quick note.

Hey, hey.

I’ve been missing in action for a few days due to sickness and then a series of very busy, and very pleasant, evenings. I’m still working on a bunch of different projects, and the most recent short story (which had been locked for a while after its release) is now good for checking out.

No material to be posted today, but soon, I’m sure. Larger projects have kept me from doing the smaller, more frequent bits that are usually a staple of this site.

Project Update 5-13-2010

An update on the projects I am working on.

Hey ladies and gents,

I hesitate to post too many “updates” becuase the real purpose of this site is to post the media itself, but here goes:

I’m working with a comic artist right now drafting a 3-day a week serial.

I am also busy with another Halo comic, 17 pages of which are done.

I’ve just finished cleaning up the first half of SoaMW (the book I’m working on). Now I have to go back and type up all those penned-in changes.

and I’m also busy writing a short story which should be out within the week.

Canistel performances this friday and next!

SoaMW Update

Quickie on Signature of a Motorized World.

Printed her out. 132 pages double spaced and I’m only 50% done with the story. Take that english term paper. Here’s some pictures of the stack. It’s ginormous.

Ficly? I think NOT! Read on for more details.

I could start yapping, and then this portfolio-ish site would become a blog, and god only knows how I get bored of those. So I won’t yap. Here’s a quick update.

Went through some recording of the band just now. Nothing I’m really interested in posting. Nothing all that great. It was our first practice since before my teacher past away, so it was good to get back together. I think we were all a little rusty. On Friday we’ll have practice again, and hopefully I’ll take some recordings before I have to go run out to a poetry event called “Rhythm and Rhyme” which I infallibly have to use spell-check to get right. I’m hoping we can get you folks a cover of Dream Theater’s “These Walls” over the weekend.

Didn’t write a ficly today. Bummer, I know. The recent lack of comments on my stuff is a bit of a downer, but beyond that- I’ve been spending significantly more time on the book (Signature of a Motorized World), which is over 60 standard pages (8.5×11) in length. That roughly 112 pages in book size. Take THAT 4-6 page English paper due next Friday, and 2 page Economics paper due May 19th!

Keep in mind that while a Ficly tomorrow is unlikely given my schedule, I will try to put some out over the weekend, provided it doesn’t get in the way of me book. (Which I am lovingly going to refer to by the acronym SMW.
